Pittsburgh Wedding

I went to Pittsburgh a few months back to photograph Loren and Bonnie’s Wedding.  Bonnie was a fellow corps member with me a few years back.  It was so good to revisit old memories from gutting houses and toughing it for America.  It was also such a pleasure to reconnect with some Amerikids from my team and meet others who are still serving!  Loren is a photojournalist in Alaska, and a darn good one, check out some of his work here.  pretty good right!?  They were originally planning to have their wedding in Alaska, but they ended up having it in the states, and Pittsburgh got to see a love worth fighting for, literally.  At the end of their day they did this neat little game where every one surrounds the bride and barricades her from the groom.  Then the groom has to literally fight his way to the bride, ending in a super fun and a passionate kiss. It was so fun to see their love displayed this way!  Thanks to Loren and Bonnie for bringing me out to such a great day and a super big high five to my Americorps peeps in attendance!
