Dan & Sarah
You might remember these two from their engagement shoot in Georgia from a few months ago. I consider them friends, after the engagement shoot they invited me right into their home to share Grandma’s dinner! I must say I felt so at ease this past weekend, in the weeks leading up to their day amidst all of her last minute planning, Sarah stepped outside of her moment to console me as I went through some tough family times. I almost didn’t want to write anything about that, but it is the truth and beauty of life. The dark times makes the light so much more meaningful. (a truth that I hope shows in my work) Sarah and Dan are constantly traveling, and they are constantly making the world a better place. Don’t I always say that I get the best clients! On the wedding day Dan gave Sarah an incredible photograph he had taken, and I was stunned by how good and artistic it was. It was honestly kind of inspiring, oh the power of a photograph! The day was incredible, we started off at the Curtis Hotel in downtown Denver, did a first look at Union Station, and then went to Mile High Station for the ceremony and reception. There was so much love in the air and Mile High Station, is the perfect venue for a romantic Urban feel, I loved it. Sarah had the wonderful Lilli Black from Bella Calla coordinating the behind the scenes action and the whole day just sailed! Bella Calla also created the floral arrangements for the day and they were absolutely stunning. Shooting next to me for the day was my friend and fellow photographer Steven Wade, thanks for coming brother!
