Tami & Ryan
I was so happy to photograph the wedding of Tami and Ryan at the Georgia Southern University Botanical Gardens in Statesboro, GA. It was a fun filled weekend, I got to go home to Savannah and hang with my family and then photograph this super fun wedding. This is my first for 2013, and I am excited for the places that we will be going! My brides this year are so fun and full of life, and Tami was such a wonderful start. Tami and Ryan met at Georgia Southern, and I believe they met Swing dancing (which is one of my true loves as well) . We did an engagement shoot in a cotton field last year, and since then I have been so excited for their wedding. I also started out this year with a new camera and I am so happy with it. The D800 renders so beautifully. The way my 50mm 1.4 draws bokeh when it’s mounted on the D800 is so so buttery! I love it! Okay, I am a little too excited. Let me know if you see what I mean. I have to comment on the beauty, depth, and expression of the love Tami and Ryan hold for each other. Their ceremony was filled with laughter, smiles, prayer and then…. they washed each others feet. awesome right? Yeah, it was wonderful, there are a couple of shots of it below. But for me, I was excited to notice how joyful and effortless this took place. I mean they did this with smiles and care. This is the kind of love I love to photograph. Like the example Christ gave they really expressed the servant characteristic in which love is most powerful. Okay, okay okay, I hope you enjoy it. In fact let me know what you think in the comments section below! 🙂 Congrats guys! And a big thanks to Lauren Jordal for assisting me for this one!
