This is just one of my favorite moments from China! The FOB had just hugged the groom, then he hugged the bride (his daughter) , then the brides so elated comes and hugs the Groom. And these were those silent, meaning-filled hugs that make you want to join in and get one for yourself. I felt, then I responded. I love that I had the Carl Ziess 85 on deck, because simply by being a manual focus lens it causes me to think and decide. The goal is to be careful and delicate, although I rarely am, this lens trips me up and makes me slow down and at least try to see. I think this lens is plenty sharp at f1.4. I agree that it is sharper at f4 and that maybe I should have taken this one at f.4. Aaah! But, I love it… it does the trick for me and the Bokeh just adds that extra bit of Zeiss Sass that makes this moment magical. .jpg "8514")
