This was a wonderful Aspen CO wedding, I mean how can you go wrong with a wedding in Aspen, it is so beautiful! Alison and Constantinos planned their wedding at Aspen Community Church with a reception to follow at the Jerome Hotel.   They contacted the best planners in the mountains BlueBird Productions! And I must say it came out amazing! It was a great weekend in Aspen, Ali got ready at the Jerome and Constantinos got ready at the Molly Gibson right down the street.  The ceremony was so neat, it was a Greek ceremony filled with neat traditions, one of note is the throwing of rice in the church! It was spectacular and such a mess, ha ha. I loved photographing it!  We got rained out for portraits, but no matter –  we got to play in the Jerome!  Anyone who follows my work knows that I love it when it rains, it changes the norm.. and causes us to be genuine, to think on our feet ..and that is exactly what we did.  Honestly it wasn’t hard to find places for portraits in the Jerome it is such a neat hotel!   We ended up going up to Maroon Bells the next day to photograph them outside.  It is one of Ali’s favorite places (for good reason)  and it is the least we could do to finish off a great weekend!  This was a fun wedding for me, it gave me a chance to play with some ideas that I’ve had for a while.  The Zeiss 55mm 1.4 Otus came along for the ride as well, which is a pretty sweet lens.. I’ll rent the sigma soon to compare it in action!   I must add that all of their friends and family were so so friendly, I thoroughly enjoy my job 🙂  Well, here is a list of some of the people who made this day come together so wonderfully!
